Diaster Relief--the Puna, Hawaii Acupuncture Relief Project. December 2014.

Acupuncture builds resilience in communities affected by natural disasters.

Using acupuncture for stress relief from the traumatic experience of residents in and near Puna, Hawaii, as the lava flow slowly encroaches on their town.  Traditional Asian Medicine techniques, such as this type of group auricular (ear) acupuncture are useful and powerful tools that
  • help people cope better with traumatic stress and
  • engender resilience.
